Tension: the good kind, holding things up and free from joints and glues. At the origins of my design is this self-made table now twenty-five years ago that was born out of a passion for objects and the laws that govern them. A system of joints that is a form of sustainability ante litteram. Sustainable are the materials such as the assembly system that does not involve glues and hooks but relies on the bending of the central crossbeam and the consequent force exerted on the uprights and securing all the elements. Tavoloteso also saves on packaging. The beauty of a small world that can stand on its own two feet.
